JAMMU, Nov 02 : Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs will elect the Leader of its Legislature Party at Srinagar on November 03.
Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Prahlad Joshi and party national general secretary, in-charge J&K and Ladakh UTs, Tarun Chugh are visiting Srinagar on November 3, as have been appointed national observers by party high command.
28 BJP MLAs of the party to participate in the meeting of electing Legislature Party Leader and Deputy Leader.
With passing away of MLA Nagrota Devender Rana, BJP will now have 28 MLAs instead of 29 in Jammu and Kashmir.
Sources told Cross Town News that five ex Ministers Sunil Sharma, Devinder Manyal , Rajiv Jasrotia , Shakti Parihar and Chander Prakash Ganga are the fives name which are being considered for the pivotal post of LoP.
