Srinagar, October 30: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah emphasized the importance of restoring the dignity of Jammu and Kashmir citizens, stating that they should have the first rights to land, jobs, and resources.
Omar while speaking with with Civil Society members said that there is growing problem of drug abuse and called for collaboration with religious leaders and civil society to combat this issue.
Omar said that Jammu and Kashmir has recently regained an elected government, marking a significant change from the past. We all deserve to live a dignified life. Basic services like roads, electricity, and water mean little without respect.
He assured attendees that his administration would fight for their rights.
Omar said that at the next meeting with Civil Society members, he would present Action Taken Reports on the issues discussed.
