Jammu, Feb 1: Vijay Kumar-IPS officially assumed the responsibilities of Additional Director General of Police Armed J&K on Thursday at the Armed Police Headquarters in Jammu.
Vijay Kumar, an officer of the 1997 batch of the IPS cadre in Jammu & Kashmir, was warmly welcomed by senior police officers, commandants of Armed Police and Indian Reserve Battalions, as well as officers and staff members of APHQ J&K.
Vijay Kumar brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role, and his assumption of duties as ADGP Armed J&K marks a pivotal moment in the leadership of the state's armed forces.
