NEW DELHI, Feb 08: Senior Leader Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma and  J&K BJP Co-Incharge Ashish Sood are among 5 top Contenders for chair of Delhi Chief Minister. 

Former MP Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma became strong man  for the BJP after defeating AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal in the New Delhi seat.

Verma, is  son of former Delhi CM Sahib Singh Verma, and managed to win in Kejriwal's stronghold.

Ashish Sood, co incharge for Bhartiya Janta Party in Jammu and Kashmir and Incharge for the Party in Goa, has played signification role for party in elections in Delhi.

His management skills during Jammu and Kashmir elections were appreciated widely in BJP circles, where BJP won 29 seats in J&K.

Sood won from Janakpuri seat with huge margin.

Vijender Gupta,  has served as Delhi BJP chief and hwon from Rohini seat, in 2015 and 2020 despite AAP's dominance.

Gupta also served as leader of the opposition in the Delhi assembly, thus making him strong choice for the post.

Majinder Singh Sirsa, the BJP candidate from Rajouri Garden Vidhan Sabha constituency, is also  a strong name for the Chief Minister post in Delhi as BJP now.

BJP Leader Harish Khurana,  son of former Chief Minister of Delhi Madan Lal Khurana is also top contender for the post and is a secretary of the BJP’s Delhi unit.

Sources told Cross Town News that one among these five ,one likely to be Chief Minister in Delhi , where other  likely to be inducted as Ministers along with two others , as Delhi can maximum of one CM and six Ministers.
