JAMMU, Apr 5: Supreme Court Collegium has recommended appointment of Justice Arun Palli, Judge High Court of Punjab and Haryana as Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
The present Chief Justice of J&K and Ladakh High Court Justice Tashi Rabstan will attain superannuation on April 9, 2025.
Justice Arun Palli was designated as a Senior Advocate on April 26, 2007. He was elevated to the Bench of the Punjab and Haryana High Court on December 28, 2013.
He has also been serving as Executive Chairman of Haryana State Legal Service Authority since 31.5.2023 and was nominated as a Member of the Governing Body of the National Legal Services Authority on October 31, 2023, for two years.
