RAJOURI, Feb 2: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma today chaired a meeting here in his office to review the implementation of the Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA) by the Government departments.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the officers to ensure that applications seeking different services are processed in a time-bound manner to prevent inconvenience to the general public.
He emphasised the need for strict adherence to PSGA provisions, instructing officials to adhere to the act in letter and spirit & directed that all mandated Government services must be delivered to citizens within prescribed time and in a hassle-free manner.
He asked the officials to take proactive measures to minimize delays and enhance transparency in governance.
He further asked ADCs, SDMs, and Tehsildars to closely monitor and curb illegal mining in their respective jurisdictions by taking stringent action against the perpetrators.
