JAMMU, Feb 01: IAS Officer from Jammu and Kashmir and presently posted in Jammu and Kashmir , Sheikh Arshad Ayub has been appointed Deputy Secretary Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India , which is considered prestigious posting.
The Order copy with Cross Town News reads "Arshad Ayub Sheikh, IAS(UT:2013), who was recommended for Central deputation by the M/o Home Affairs has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Personnel & Training, Delhi under the Central Staffing Scheme for a tenure upto 31.10.2028(i.e. till the date of his superannuation) from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier. He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Department of Personnel & Training, Delhi. "
Arshad has held important postings in Jammu and Kashmir including Inspector General of Registration.
