JAMMU, Oct 25: The State Election Commission (SEC) today ordered annual revision of the existing Panchayat Electoral Rolls with January 1, 2025 as qualifying date.
The final electoral rolls will be published on January 6, 2025.
Detailed revision schedule said all Panchayat Election Booth Officers (PEBOs) shall remain present in their respective Polling Station locations with the requisite for guidance of the electors and receiving claims and objections.
“A total of six special camps will be organized at all Polling Stations across Jammu and Kashmir,” the SEC order to all 20 DCs of the UT said.
A condolidated report of the district will be submitted to the SEC office the next days of the special camp.
