Jammu, Oct 20:PM has announced "HAR GHAR NAL, HAR GHAR JAL" to provide water to every house hold.
Following which another scheme namely Jal Jeevan Mission was launched to provide water to every village & every house but that also seems in papers in Jammu and Kashmir, because officers only preferred to procure pipes of crores but in how many house water was provided that will not not tally on ground as per their reports in papers.
It is also to mention here that it is a known factor that even people of posh areas of Jammu like Channi Himmat, Trikuta Nagar, Sanik Colony, Greater Kailash etc makes hue & cry for not getting proper quantity of water required for routine works in their houses.
Now, failure of Jal Shakti Department, J&K can be seen from the below snapshot that an old & handicap man, once upon a time, approached then Secretary, Jal Shakti, Farooq Shah for a water connection for his house & in turn Secretary wrote to then Xen, PHE Samba, "FOR IMMEDIATE ACTION" on 7.12.2018 & Xen further forwarded to AEE, Bari for immediate actions dated 8.12.2018 for that immediate actions are still hanging in fire till today, speaks of failure of Jal Shakti Department as a whole.
The concerned old man now approached Managing Editor Cross Town News for his help to get water connection as none of the officer of Jal Shakti hearing him despite his house just existing on 100 metres away from main road, where main water supply pipe is running.
He added that in LGs rule despite my running to concerned officers none heard me till today getting water for his family through private water tanks.
Now, concerned Jal Shakti Minister, should act on the concerned defaulting officers for not proving water connection to an old retired person by making open failure of so called "HAR GHAR NAL, HAR GHAR JAL" scheme because it could not provide water to a needed family.
