Jammu, October 18: In a concerning development, serious allegations have emerged against the Managing Director of Jammu and Kashmir Housing Board, who stands accused of harassment and arbitrary decision-making while processing public applications for various housing-related permissions.
According to multiple sources, the MD, himself is accused of road encroachment.
The Managing Director Housing Board is alleged to have himself encroached the road in front of his house at Plot No. 255 Sector 2 Channi Himmat Jammu by installing heavy steel railings.
Ironically, while his staff directs other allottees in housing Board Colonies to demolish similar structures. His parental House is even been served Notice (No. HB-7887 Dated 12.10.2021) by his own Board in the year 2021 for violations which he is yet to remove.
He has reportedly been creating unnnecssary obstacles for common citizens seeking routine permissions and transfer of plots.
Even, it has been reported that a clerical level employee is deciding the file clearance system in his office & pick & choose policy is being adopted for clearnce of files.
