SAMBA, Oct 1:Ashok Kumar, Government employee, posted at Nanga polling station in Ramgarh Assembly constituency on election duty died after suffering a heart attack during the third and final phase of voting in Samba district.
Ashok Kumar, after completing his voting process by 6 pm, reached the Deputy Commissioner’s office to deposit the ballot boxes in the strong room, he suffered atatck, taken to District Hospital Samba where the doctor declared him dead.
District Election Officer Rajesh Sharma expressed his condolences.
