BJP’s 25 new ‘jumlas’ to deceive J&K people once again: Tony

JAMMU, Sept 8: General secretary of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee and DDC Member Suchetgarh, Taranjit Singh Tony, launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party for what he termed as a “flood of lies” in their election manifesto.

Speaking at a series of public meetings while campaigning for Congress in Bahu constituency, Rani Talab Digiana, Narwal Pain, and the Cantonment area, Tony accused the BJP of continuously misleading the people of Jammu and Kashmir with empty promises.

He added that BJP has come to J&K with 25 new ‘Jumlas’ to deceive the public once again. Time has proven that every election brings with it a barrage of false promises from the BJP. Where are the 2 crore jobs they promised for the youth?

Tony stated that they have done nothing but betrayed the people, especially the youth, on the promise of employment.

He further criticized the BJP’s ten-year tenure, questioning why the party is now pledging to fulfill promises they failed to deliver on in the past decade?  He added that who stopped them from implementing these initiatives earlier? & now, they are trying to fool the people by making hollow promises for the next five years & he urged voters to see through the BJP’s deceptive tactics.

He gave  example of failure of LGs Administrations in J&K under BJP's rule is open non compliance of LGs Administrative Councils Decision No 17/1/2022 dtd 29th Jan 2022 by DC's despite lapse of more than 31 months causing harassment to thousand of innocents of J&K but none of the so called MP/MLA/Leaders of Jammu spoke on the issue including MoS in PMO.

Tony appealed to the public to reject the BJP’s false promises and to support the Congress Alliance, which has a proven track record of delivering on its commitments and standing up for the welfare of all sections of society.
