JAMMU, Apr 18: Jammu Club today organized registration camp under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana for staff members of the Club.
The camp was organized as part of Welfare Steps for Staff Members with support of Dr Raghav Langar, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, who is also Vice President of Club.
Speaking on the occasion, Secretary Jammu Club Gaurav Gupta said that this registration has been organized with a view to cover the entire staff of Jammu Club under the Central Government’s flagship scheme Ayushman Bharat. He said that the Ayushman scheme is proving to be a boon for people of Jammu and Kashmir as it has provided healthcare facilities to the individual beneficiaries who were earlier not able to afford the costly treatments due to economic constraints but now can avail free health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh.
Secretary of the Club informed that many more such camps will be organized in near future
Chairperson Administrative Sub Committee Er Tania Mahajan, said that this step ahs been taken for Staff Welfare, more such will be followed in coming months , also steps to be taken for Members of Club.
The Executive Members of Jammu Club who were present during the camp include Er Ashok Gandotra, Er Ajay Sabharwal, Prof Aekta Gupta, Indu Puri, Er Vikram Sharma and Ashwani Gupta .
