NEW DELHI, Jan 04: With senior IAS Officer, Ashutosh Agnihotri appointed as Chairman and Managing Director Food Corporation of India, two Officers Prashant Lokhande and Praveen Rai hold lot of significance for Jammu and Kashmir segment and full AGMUT cadre.
As per details with Cross Town News the 2001 batch IAS Officer, Prashant Lokhande , IAS Officer of AGMUT cadre and Joint Secrteary in MHA is handling Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh Affairs in MHA.
The post of Joint Secretray JKL , holds lot of significance as far as Jammu and Kashmir is concerned and all Orders are also copied to said Officer.
IDAS Officer Praveen Kumar Rai is handling Union Territories in Ministry of Home Affairs, as Joint Secretary.
The post is considered important posting as Officer looks after aspects related to Union Territories , even related to Administration.
