JAMMU, Feb 10: LG Jammu and Kashmir , Manoj Sinha, launched QR code based mechanism for handmade carpets of J&K.
Principal Secretary Industries Ranjan Prakash & Director Industries Jammu , Anoo Malhotra were there on the occassion.
LG said " Launched QR code based mechanism, first of its kind in the country, for certification & labeling of handmade carpets of J&K. The customers can check & verify authenticity and other requisite details of carpets produced in UT.
With the help of modern technology, we will be able to standardize uniqueness of handmade carpets & boost export of J&K's carpet industry in international markets."
