SRINAGAR, Apr 09: The Jammu and Kashmir Administration has decided to increase the availability of online Gondola tickets from 3,400 to 5,000 per day, while also introducing a tatkal booking system for next-day slots to enhance service delivery and crowd management.
The decisions were taken during a high-level meeting chaired by Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, to streamline facilities at the world-famous ski and tourist destination.
The meeting was attended by key officials including the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Director Tourism Kashmir, MD Cable Car Corporation, and others.
The Div Com directed the Cable Car Corporation to implement the increased online quota with immediate effect and ensure that the new tatkal system is efficient and transparent.
