Jammu, Apr 02:Working pattern in Jal Shakti Dept J&K can again be observed from the below orders where it was ordered to submit detailed report over corruption charges against officers vide G.O's dtd 04.03.2022 & 15.07.2022.
After submission of the report by Inquiry Officer again Govt directed to revisit the report vide order dtd 08.02.2023 & thereafter sleeping over the issue Inquiry Officer resubmitted the supplementary report vide letter dtd 27.05.2024 means after a lapse of 1 year & 3 months, otherwise time frames are fixed by Govt to decide such issues in a time bound manner?
Story did not end here, the boss of Jal Shakti , Shaleen Kabra, again after sleeping over the issue for next 10 months vide order dtd 08.03.2025 imposed penalty of withholding of one increment on the officer but in between one Engineer retired on superannuation raised some more questions, so it is the need of the day to see whether the enquiry has been completed within specified time period granted for the issue, if not shall Govt act on defaulting officers for such lapses in violation of Govt rules & Acts?
