New Delhi, Jan 24: Suspension of Alankrita Singh (IPS: 2008: UP) has been revoked and her voluntary retirement has been accepted.
She was suspended on the charges of dereliction of duty and indiscipline after reports surfaced that she had gone to London without taking formal approval from the competent authority while serving as SP of Women and Child Safety Department.
The IPS officer was not attending office since October 20, 2021.
The suspension order was issued after confirmation that she was continuously absent from work and was reportedly staying in London without getting her leave sanctioned.
