Akhnoor, Jan 14: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on tuesday hoisted a 108-foot national flag and inaugurated a heritage museum in Akhnoor belt of Jammu.
Singh, was accompanied by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah , chief of defence staff and senior officers and participated in the 9th Armed Forces Veterans’ Day programme celebrated at Tanda Artillery Brigade.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh accused Pakistan of making continuous efforts to destabilize Jammu and Kashmir.
Responding to remarks by PoK Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, who recently called for mobilizing resources angainst Indian forces , Singh stated that Jammu and Kashmir is incomplete without PoK.
Singh criticized Pakistan’s attempts to create unrest and emphasized the ongoing efforts to bridge the gap between the people of Jammu and Kashmir and Delhi and for using PoK as a base for terrorism and promised decisive action.
