Jammu, Dec 20: Pankaj Sharma after taking over the charge of VC JDA has actively advised public not to take of constructions without due permissions from the competent authority.
But, it has been notice that lot of violators as usual following past practices did not bother for & faced demolitions in the later stage causing financial loss for taking up illegal acts.
Today, again on the directions of Pankaj Sharma, VCJDA a team headed by Megha Gupta, Tehsildar, JDA, Pankaj Sing Khilaf Warzi Officer, Rajinder Sharma, Khilaf Warzi Inspector initiated a demolition drive on illegal constructions.
It has been reported that Commercial Structures constructed on JDA land has been demolished by the JDA's efficient team of officers with the help of Narwal Police.
However, Pankaj Sharma has again advised public not to take up buildings without due permissions from JDA, otherwise they shall be responsible for the actions under rules.
