SAMBA, Dec 20: The Rural Development Department Samba has launched a comprehensive series of initiatives as part of Good Governance Week, demonstrating its commitment to strengthening public services delivery and administrative transparency.
In a notable step, Block Development Officers across all nine blocks of the district organized specialized camps focused on grievances redressal, marking a significant step toward improving citizen-administration interface.
These camps served as vital platforms for direct interaction between officials and the public, enabling prompt resolution of community concerns.
Special grievance redressal camps hosted across all blocks focused on streamlining administrative processes, enhancing emphasis on transparency and accountability, hosting training sessions to enhance staff skills for effective public services delivery and Implementation of prompt resolution mechanisms.
This initiative aligns with the broader national agenda of promoting good governance practices and ensuring citizen-centric services delivery. The department remains committed to maintaining these standards and continuously improving its service delivery mechanisms.
But, it is a question that had BDOs or other concerned officer bothered to verify that how many works have not been started till day despite lapse of quarter of the year & what actions have been recommended against the concerned for not staring the development till day, which will clearly speak of low expenditure on the other side?
