Vessu, Nov 01: Health and Higher Education Minister Sakeena Masood said that te government is committed to swiftly filling vacancies across departments as part of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s promise to provide one lakh jobs.
Sakeena made the statement during her Diwali visit to the Kashmiri Pandit (KP) Colony in Vessu, Qazigund, where she joined residents in their celebrations.
Responding to questions about job vacancies in the Health and Social Welfare departments following the cabinet’s recent approval of 575 lecturer posts, Sakeena said the government has referred these positions to the concerned agencies for recruitment.
She said that there are numerous vacancies across various departments, including Health and Education.
We are committed to filling these positions & added that our Chief Minister has promised employment to 1,00,000 people, and we stand by that commitment, so we will work to fill all vacancies as soon as possible, she added
