Jammu, Oct 15: It is well aware of the facts that J&K Development Act of 1970 clearly reads to revise Mater Plans after every five years even prior to that if needed but was being delayed in J&K.

However, Cross Town News published in details the issues but no actions, Mandeep Kour, Comm/Secretary H&UDD, on a complaint of Rajesh Gupta, Managing Director, Cross Town New over a wrong & illegal rejection of  BP Case by STP of Jammu Dev Authority understood the issue & directed the concerned officers to revise the Jammu Master Plan, 2032 because it was previously notified in March 2017 & was to be notified by March, 2022 but on today is October, 2024?

It is to mention here that then STP of JDA & others due to lack of knowledge or for the reasons best known to them did not bother to write to Govt for for lot of short falls in the MP-2032 despite that Pr secretary, Dheeraj Gupta in presence of Rajesh Gupta, Managing Editor, Cross town News directed then Commissioner, JMC, VC JDA, CTP, TPO Jammu & STP JDA to immediately write to govt for approval of short falls but none bothered & among all was issue of Proposed roads & left over Bye laws of lot of items for which CTP, TPO him self wrote to JDA that Bye Laws of one BP Case not in Master Plan of which BP Case of one innocents was rejected by one of the most notorious ,then STP , of JDA.

But now, Pankaj Sharma after taking the charge as VC JDA put all important public issues on priority & streamlined the system in JDA by clearing day to day NOCs of STP Sectionz

Pankaj directed all concerned officers for quick disposals following which revised Master Plan has been put on public domain for their objections in which countless relaxations has been provided for public interest because lot of new policies has been incorporated, which emphasizes mixed use colonies.
