JAMMU, Oct 09: Satish Sharma, Surinder Choudhary , Arjun Singh Raju , Aijaz Jan may represent Jammu region in National Conference led Government , once it is formed in Jammu & Kashmir.
Highly placed Sources told Cross Town News that as BJP has clear majority in Jammu and Congress getting nothing, the four Leaders could likely represent aspirations of Jammu region and people of Jammu in the Council of Ministry to be led by Omar Abdullah.
Satish Sharma , son of late MP of Jammu, Madan Sharma, won Election as an Independent from Chhamb but Congress is trying to woo back Satish in the Party fold.
Sources said that senior Congress Leaders of National repute , are trying to get back Satish Sharma to his home, that is Congress.
In this Scenario, Satish could get role of Cabinet Minister , as he will be the only face for the party in five districts of Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Udhampur and Reasi, where BJP made a clean sweep except two seats though there is no clear indication whether Satish will join back Congress or not.
Though Iftikar Choudhary of Congress has also won from Rajouri , infact only one from Congress ticket in Jammu province.
One the other hand Surinder Choudhary , Aijaz Jan and Arjun Singh Raju have won on NC tickets , will be frontrunners to represent NC from Jammu regions, sources said.
Sources said that Surinder Choudhary is not only having base in Nowshera belt but in Jammu region too , which will make him strong contender for the post of Minister.
Wheras Arjun Singh Raju ,who is also the Hindu face of the part along with Surinder Choudhary , who won from Ramban , could be the face of tha Party from Jammu region, with control in Doda-Ramban-Kishtwar region , especially could play a role in countering the increaing popularity if BJP is the region, as BJP won 4 seats in the belt out of eight.
Aijaz Jan has won Election for second time now, and is close confidant of Omar Abdullah, and could become face of the party for Pir Panjal range, where Party has done good.
