JAMMU, Oct 08: NC Alliance won 49 Seats in Jammu and Kashmir thus having majority and clearing the magic number of 48 , in case five MLAs are nominated , otherwise the magic number is 46.
National Conference won 42 Seats , Congress 6 Seats and Yusuf Taragami won his seat taking the tally to 49 seats.
Omar Abdullah won his both seats from Budgam and Ganderbal with thumping margins.
Sources in National Conference told Cross Town News few Independents may join NC-Congress Alliance.
Highly placed sources told Cross Town News that Omar Abdullah likely to take oath as Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday/Saturday ( October 11th or 12th) .
