JAMMU, Sept 13: Scrutiny of nomination papers for 24 Assembly constituencies of Jammu region which are going to polling in third and final phase was held today in the office of the respective Returning Officers across four districts of the Jammu region.
During the scrutiny of the nomination papers, candidature of 221 was found valid as per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India. Nomination papers of 113 candidates were found valid in Jammu district, followed by 38 each in Kathua and Udhamur districts and 32 in Samba district.
