JAMMU, Sep 13: Two soldiers were martyred and two injured during an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district on Friday,.
Acting on a tip-off, security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the Naidgham area in Chhatroo belt, ensuing encounter.
As per sources , three terrorists, who carried out attack on Indian Army patrol in Desa area of Doda in July earlier this year, in which 4 Army personnel were ‘martyred, trapped in Chatroo area of Kishtwar.
Naib Subedar Vipan Kumar from J&K and Sepoy Arvind Kumar from Himachal Pradesh martyred.
