JAMMU, Sep 07: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday addressed gathering in Jammu and said the upcoming election is a historical election.
Shah said "Ever since the country became independent... For the first time, the voter of Jammu and Kashmir will vote under a tricolor, not two flags. For the first time, not two constitutions, voting is going to happen under the Constitution of India (which Baba Saheb Ambedkar) For the first time, Prime Minister cannot sit in the whole Jammu and Kashmir province, Prime Minister is the only one, whom people from Kashmir to Kanyakumari selected and that is our dear leader Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi ji."
Shah while questioning NC & Congress said " National Conference and Congress Party says that we will return state status to Jammu and Kashmir. I want to ask Abdullah Sahab and Rahul Baba how will you return state status to Jammu and Kashmir? You are fooling the public. Only Indian government can give state status to Jammu and Kashmir. I myself have said in the house that after the elections, Jammu and Kashmir will be given state status. The thing we have given, you (National Conference and Congress) are asking for."
Home Minister said " National Conference, Congress and PDP say, we will bring the system like before. Do you agree with this? The autonomy talk that scorched Jammu Kashmir in fire, 40 thousand people were killed in the valley... They say, we will give autonomy to Jammu and Kashmir. I go say today, no force can talk autonomy."
Shah added "After 70 years of removal of Article-370, the mothers and sisters of Jammu Kashmir have got the right. National Conference and Congress Party wants to take away these rights. Will you take away these rights? National Conference and Congress Party wants to release people involved in stone pelting and terrorism from jail so that terrorism should come again where there is peace like Jammu, Punch, Rajouri. Would you let terrorism back in these areas? "
Amit Shah said to getehring "We have gone door to door to door and aware people about their (National Conference and Congress) divisive agenda. I had a press conference highlighted the divisive agenda of the National Conference and Congress.
