SRINAGAR, August 03: Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Gulzar Ahmed Khan, who also holds the additional charge of CEO Sonamarg Development Authority, conducted a massive demolition drive of several hotels that had come up illegally despite a ban imposed by the Jammu and Kashmir High Court.
The CEO emphasized that the demolition was necessary to uphold the law and prevent further illegal developments.
He also warned that strict action would continue to be taken against violators to ensure compliance with legal and environmental standards in Sonamarg.
