JAMMU, June 30: Deputy Commissioner Jammu Sachin Kumar Vaishya has ordered the deduction of three days' salary of a Patwari for wrongfully rejecting a mutation application.
He also ordered an enquiry, which is to be conducted by Additional District Magistrate, Shishir Gupta to decide further course of action to be taken against the erring official.
The DC emphasized the importance of adhering to the Public Service Guarantee Act, directing the entire Revenue Department staff to attend to public applications diligently.
But, if he wanted to bring more efficiency in the administration, needed to act for non compliances like biggest non compliance of SRO-456 of 2017, LGs time bound Administrative Councils Decision No 17/1/2022 for which DC Samba & Kathua are leading, actions for delay in reply's in various courts causing delay in justice, ATRs on his processing's by seeking ATRs of each applications from cru's, actions taken on land grabbers & Revenue Officers for /managing/issuing fraud permissions for alienations of khad lands, actions after cancellation of fraud mutations in Chowadhi vide No. DM/LD/23-24/151-54 dtd. 13.04.2023.
He should also act for delay in submitting enquiry reports sought by him, so that early justice/actions can exist on ground & whether previous enquiry reports has been submitted in time by Additional District Magistrate, Shishir Gupta & other officers?
Above all it is to mention here that out of one 31 Marla cancelled mutation, DC Office Jammu has established that 17 Marla land pertains on one genuine person following which his attorney holder has submitted a request to DC Jammu in November 2023 with proper gmail, copy is with CTN, which reads that rest 14 Marla land be declared as State Land to stop further encroachment but till day no actions ?
