Amit Yadav (IAS: 1991: AGMUT) has been appointed as Secretary of Department of Social Justice & Empowerment vice Saurabh Garg but to formalise the same the Govt partially modified its order dated 27.05.2024 appointing Amit Yadav as OSD in the ministry to succeed Garg as Secretary w.e.f. 01 August 2024.
Saurabh Garg (IAS: 1991: OR) has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (M/o SPI) up to his superannuation on 31.07.2024 and thereafter on contract basis for a period of one year ending 31.07.2025. As per the notification he will also function as Secretary to National Statistical Commission. Currently, he is Secretary Department of Social Justice & Empowerment.
Nitin Kumar Yadav (IAS: 2000: HY) has appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce for a combined tenure of seven years ending 12.09.2028. He replaces M. Balaji (lAS: 2005: TN)
Pankaj Yadav (IAS: 2001: HY) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Rural Development for an overall tenure of five years up to 31.10.2027 vice Karma Zimpa Bhutia (IFoS: 1997: JH).
