Jammu, Dec 19: DM Jammu Sachin Vaishya is going to hold a public meeting at office of Tehsildar Bahu on Wednesday, December 20 between 12-4 pm.
He through "X" said that all residents of the tehsil are welcome to come forward with their grievances and demands at the occasion.
It has been come to understand that issue of Gair Mumkin Khad Lands likely to be one of the issue because on the said issue SRO-456 of 2017 dtd 25th October 2017 by which Div/DCs were nominated as adjudicating officers to resolve the issue but progress on ground is negligible, speaks of open non compliance of SRO issued by the Govt.
Thereafter LG Manoj Sinha by Administrative Councils Decision No 17/1/2022 dtd 29th Jan 2022 fixed 03 months to complete the exercise, which was followed by G.O.No 18-JK(Rev) of 2022 dtd 4th Feb 2022 but on today 22 months has been lapsed but only one area of village Seohra has been cleared in Jammu District & areas of Jallo Chak is hanging in fire despite areas nearby same nallah falling in Samba District at Birpur has been cleared raised some questions on working of Jammu District.
It is also to mention here that areas in thickly populated areas like Channi, Greater Kailash, Sainik Colony, Chowadhi, where despite nearby huge constructions, single plots nomenclature as Gair Mumkin Khad ;ands are hanging in fire for its clearance raised a big question on Jammu Administration
