RAJOURI, NOVEMBER 25: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, chaired a crucial meeting to deliberate upon and finalize the stamp duty rates in the district, here today. During the meeting, the Revenue Officers provided a comprehensive analysis of the existing stamp duty rates and apprised the Deputy Commissioner about the percentage of hike proposed in different areas under their respective jurisdictions.
They also presented detailed justifications for the proposed increase in stamp duty rates. A threadbare discussion was held on the valuation rates received from various rural and urban areas within the Rajouri District.
The purpose of this discussion was to ensure a fair and equitable determination of stamp duty rates that reflect the prevailing market dynamics and property values in different regions of the district.
