Jammu, Aug 28: Jammu and Kashmir Govt time & again issued instructions to Revenue Officers to complete "Demarcation of Gair Mumkin Khad Lands' in time which is especially evidently clear from SRO 456 of 2017 dtd 25th October 2017 followed by LGs time bound Administrative Councils Decision No 17/1/2022 dtd 29th Jan 2022 followed by G.0.N0 18-JK(Rev) of 2022 dtd 4th Feb 2022 but Revenue Officers never bothered about directions.
Pertinent to mention here that the said illegal act of Revenue Officers is causing harassment to thousand of innocents in one side for their intentional delays & loss to Govt exchequier on the othere side by way of stamp duty fee & other taxes.
Now, one can see that on 25th July 2023 in COS meeting, Chief Secretary directed to complete "Demarcation of Gair Mumkin Khad" with one month but that day was over on 24th August , but Revenue Officers did not bother to act and honour the situation.”
