Jammu, July 8: Union Public Service Commission has cleared induction of 28 JKAS officers including 14 Retired into IAS.
Sources told Cross Town News, that high level meeting was chaired by the UPSC Member and attended by ACS Agriculture J&K Atal Dulloo, Principal Secretary Health & GAD Manoj Dwivedi and two Joint Secretary rank officers deputed by DoPT.
As per details emerging ,that out of 28 posts, 14 have gone to Serving JKAS officers and 14 to those who have retired from the services.
Sources told Cross Town News that efforts of Pr Secretary GAD, Manoj Dwivedi brought results and this will also help in reducing shortage of IAS Officers, as induction happened after 12 years, where Dwivedi resolved issues related to seniority and others.
Though the Officers to be allotted AGMUT cadre , can be posted any where in India, initially likely to be posted in J&K only, sources added.
