Manoj Dwivedi's Impact: Health department seals 10 un-registered Dental clinics/ors


POONCH, JULY 02: Cross Town News time & again published that Govt should crack down on Private hospitals/Nursing Homes/Dental Clinics/ Path Labs etc etc for not displaying the rates & which made them to charge higher rates.

But after taking over the charge of Health by Manoj Dwivedi as Pr Secretary H&ME, the department had come in action.

A team of Health department led by Block Medical Officer, Mendhar, Dr. Parvaiz Ahmed Khan today sealed six un-registered clinics in Mendhar.

The BMO informed that the clinics were sealed for different violations including running either without registration or their registration having expired.

“Six Private Dental Clinics, three private Laboratories & one X-Ray Clinic were sealed by the team in Mendhar area of the district” he said.

“The clinics were also not registered with the State Pollution Control Board and were not adopting the biomedical wastage Norms and haven’t displayed the rate list for different diagnostic procedures” said Dr Parvaiz Ahmed Khan Block Medical Officer Mendhar

The team consisted of Naib Tehsildar Mendhar Mukesh Singh and the Police party led by Sub inspector Gulshan Pratap Singh of Police Station Mendhar .

The BMO Mendhar said that the drive against illegal clinics will continue and no one will be allowed to function without registration.

Anyone found indulging in unlawful Activity will be booked in the Interest of public and patient care, he added.
