Jammu, March 31: Ashok Parmar(IAS) Pr Secretary, I&FC, Mining is tough on illegalities but efficient in quick disposals regarding any kind of public or Govt issues, said People from Mining Line while speaking to Cross Town News.
Since the day, he had taken over the reins of I&FC, Mining, he conducted review meetings & field visits to gear up the pace of work & yesterdays snapshot of cleaning of one canal in Jammu speaks that what the Chief Engineer/Engineers of I&FC had done till today in cleaing of the said canal, so that water could have provided in fixed schedule?
However, yesterday, just after taking over the charge by Ashok Parmar, one illegal dump of meterial had been sealed by Director, Geology & Mining with the help of Police at Chowadhi road, Jammu to flash a message to such kind of illegal dump owners, who were selling meterials in high rates with the league of concerned DMOs or concerned staff of the jurisdiction.
However, M.E. CTN when spoke to Director, G&M over the said sealing, he said it has been sealed with the charges of illegal dumping & the process shall continue to have a check on such more dumps.
When the issue was spoken to DMO Samba, he told CTN that for dumping some MD licence is required, which was not with the concerned, however, he also confirmed that just the team was to reach on spot, the owner had shifted his machinery & locked the door but the dump site has been handed over to police for further investigation.
