JAMMU, Feb 13: In Jammu and Kashmir during the tenure of Congress and its coalition government, in the name of development only drums beaten and name plates were seen on the walls but the development has been started by the BJP Government from the ground level. This was stated by BJP senior leader Baldev Singh Billawaria while kick started the work of laying tiles at Gurudwara Singh Sahib Lane, Ward 56 Ekta Vihar in Gandhi Nagar Constituency.
While the development work has been started by offering ardas. These works are being done under the supervision of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC). Speaking on the occasion, Billawaria said that the work was being done to fulfil the promises made to the people before the municipal elections. He said that till today the development work was pending in Gangyal and Ekta Vihar area but now they have been taken up in hand and will be completed in stipulated time frame. He expressed his gratitude to the people of Gangyal and Ekta Vihar for the love given to him by them.
He said that the general public was exploited by the Congress for the development while no development was done on ground. He also said that the Congress showed dreams of development to the people but those dreams were fulfilled by the BJP's central government. Further he said that Congress ruled for decades but did nothing for the masses of UT, whereas BJP under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi did everything in just seven years for J&K that Congress and its coalition government couldn’t do in seven decades. Billawaria said that people can feel and see the difference in development, which was not seen in the tenure of previous governments.
He claimed that the BJP party is all set for the upcoming assembly elections and the party will form the government with a majority in the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. On this occasion Gurdwara Sahib president, Harbhajan Singh, Rakesh Sangral, Prem Singh, Captain Amrik Singh, Ranjit Singh, Rinku Singh, Sajjan Singh, Prahlad Singh, Baldev Singh, Inderjit Singh, Romi Singh, Daljit Singh and others were present.
