Baribrahmana, June 15 : Directorate of Indian Systems of Medicine (AYUSH), J&K organized free medical cum awareness camp at village Channi Kartholi of Block Baribrahmana under the overall supervision of Dr Vandana Dogra Nodal Officer, ISM, Samba.
The Camp was attended by Chander Parkash Ganga Ex-MLA Vijaypur along with Sarpanch Tarsem Charak, Panchayat Kartholi Upper, Narinder Partap Singh District President BJYM Samba, Ankush Jamwal General Secretary BJYM, Atresh Dutta BJP Block President Baribrahmana, Jai Ram Sharma, Rohit Charak Naib Sarpanch, Darshan Charak and many others.
During the camp Ganga highlighted the superiority of Ayurvedic medicine and invited the people to come forward to avail the benefits of the services of the indigenous system of medicines during the prevailing situation.
During the camp Dr Vandana Dogra aware people related to the measures to be adopted to contain the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). She informed that the indigenous medicine system is more effective in prevention and cure of the disease. Large number of local people participated and free of cost ayurvedic medicines for boosting immunity and preventing COVID-19, were also distributed among the locals.
Ayush team includes Dr Monika Raina (Medical officer) Pharmacists Shashi Pal, Kuldeep Sharma and Raj Kumar.
