Bandipora , June 06: During the intervening night of 05/06 June 2020, a patrolling party of police station Bandipora noticed some suspicious movement near a shop in main market Bandipora.
Police party immediately approached the shop and apprehended two thieves red handed while they were while attempting to commit the offence. The arrested persons have been identified as Sameer Ahmad R/o Kaloosa and Mehjoor Majeed R/o Bagh Bandipora.
In this connection case FIR No. 60/2020, u/s 457, 380/511 has been registered at police station Bandipora and further investigation taken up. A bike was also seized from the scene.
Later on SSP Bandipora *Rewarded* the vigilant police officials for their exemplery swiftness in catching the thieves red handed durig night hours.
