BUDGAM, May 18: Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Tariq Husain Ganai (KAS) today distributed food kits among the needy at Spring Buds School Ompora, Budgam.
The food kits distribution was organized by Spring Buds Education Trust in collaboration with District Administration Budgam, where needy families were provided with different food items including, rice, ata, cooking oil and spices.
On the occasion, DC Budgam said that all efforts are on to reach to all needy families to provide all essential commodities to them so that they don’t suffer during the lockdown period.
Among others various designated Covid-19 Nodal Officer Reyaz Ahmad Shah, DIO, Tajamul Yousuf, Designated Food Safety Officer, Yamin Nabi, were present on the occasion.
The distribution was held under the proper social distancing etiquettes maintained to avoid person to person contact on the occasion. Meanwhile, locals appreciated the efforts of District Administration Budgam and Spring Buds Trust for reaching them during the crises time.
