JAMMU, Jan 16: A woman frustrated of taking care of her bed ridden husband murdered him in Jammu.
Senior Superintendent of Police Jammu Tejinder Singh said that on January 9, a complainant namely Subash Kumari of Sanjay Nagar Jammu along with her son-in-law and other neighbours of Sanjay Nagar, Digiana lodged a complaint at Police Post Digiana and alleged that some unknown person with mask entered the house and murdered her husband namely Sudesh Gupta (67) and looted Rs 50,000 cash.
During the course of investigation, evidences were collected and analyzed by the team of officers led by the SDPO City South Dr Sunniya Wani and SHO Gandhi Nagar, Inspector Sunil Singh Jasrotia under supervision of SP South Vinay Kumar
When put to sustained questioning,Subash Kumari admitted that she had killed her husband by throttling him as she got frustrated due to his continuous expenses on his treatment and even sold her house of Sanjay Nagar for taking care of expenses.
