Pulwama, Mar 16 : Police in Pulwama have attached properties worth crores of a "notorious" drug peddler in Kunjipora village of Pulwama district. Officials said that four properties, worth more than a crore rupees, belonging to one of the most notorious drug peddler, Mukhtar Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Rasool Bhat of Kunjipora have been attached under 68 F (1) NDPS Act by police station Pulwama.
It said that the police team was led by SHO Pulwama Zahoor Ahmad, which attached the properties after months of painstaking investigations.
It said that Mukhtar is a known drug peddler who has been arrested earlier also and served multiple jail terms.
The attached properties include his double stories under construction house, a shopping complex and a car washing centre.
It said he had amassed properties in this illegal trade and also spread this menace among other youth of Kunjipora and other areas.
