SRINAGAR, Mar 02: Divisional Administration Kashmir acknowledged the role of all communities in maintaining peace and upholding law & order in the valley.
The statement read “ Citizens are advised to exercise restraint, adhere to advisories being issued by local administration and share only verified information on digital platforms. Round the clock helpline at Srinagar (0194-2740003) may be contacted for any assistance.
Kashmir zone Police said in view of recent developments in middle east, we respect the right of citizens to peacefully express through lawful means. The Statement reads “However, incidents of rioting, stone-porder at some places are not acceptable. Violence, destruction of property, and confrontation with security forces lead to injuries, loss of life, restrictions, closure of educational institutions, and hardship for families, traders, students, and daily wagers. We appeal to all sections of society to exercise restraint and refrain from violence & provocation. Police will take strict legal action against instigators and miscreants involved in unlawful activities.
