Ramban, February 13: Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan today inspected various developmental works in Ramban and reviewed preparedness for the commencement of long-awaited academic activities of Kendriya Vidyalaya Ramban at its temporary accommodation at Kowbag.
The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Varunjeet Singh Charak, Principal KV Ramban and other concerned officers.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner directed executing agencies to expedite the pace of ongoing developmental and maintenance works, particularly road projects and related infrastructure, to ensure their completion within the prescribed time frame.
He also instructed officers to strictly implement directions issued from time to time to achieve developmental targets in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner inspected construction and maintenance works at the temporary KV school accommodation and reviewed the availability and condition of classrooms, sanitation facilities, drinking water supply and other essential infrastructure required for the smooth commencement of academic activities.
He emphasized ensuring all basic facilities are in place to provide a safe and student-friendly learning environment.
The District Administration has redoubled its efforts to strengthen educational infrastructure in the district, and the Deputy Commissioner assured that all necessary support will be extended to ensure the smooth functioning of KV Ramban at its temporary location until permanent arrangements are put in place.
