Reasi, January 25: The Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, today felicitated the Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer (DEO) Reasi, Nidhi Malik, with an Appreciation Award during the 16th National Voters’ Day celebrations held at the Convention Centre, Jammu.
The award was conferred in recognition of her exemplary election management, meticulous planning, voter-friendly initiatives, and the transparent and efficient conduct of the electoral process in District Reasi. The District Election Officer Reasi dedicated the award to the collective efforts of all line departments, election machinery, security agencies, and stakeholders who worked under her leadership to enhance voter participation and uphold the sanctity of the electoral process, despite logistical and geographical challenges.
The DEO also appreciated the cooperation extended by political parties, candidates, media, and voters. Senior officers of the civil administration, election officials, and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
