JAMMU, Jan 19: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti attended GalBaat event in Rajouri and demanded Divisional Commissioner post for Rajouri-Poonch.
The statement reads " At today’s Gal Baat event at Rajouri the everyday pain of the people of Pir Panjal region was resoundingly articulated by the young and old. Marginalised communities, suppressed political voices, Gal Baat initiates a conversation to hear the neglected!"
Mehbooba Muti said " The people of Pir Panjal region shouldn’t have to run pillar to post in either of the capitals for their basic administrative issues.
Granting a Division level status and posting a Divisional Commissioner level officer can provide great sense of relief for the people of this region."
