Kanpur, Jan 11: Police announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for information leading to the arrest of absconding sub-inspector (SI) Amit Maurya, accused in the Sachendi gang-rape case involving the abduction and rape of a 14-year-old girl.
However, he has been suspended & four special teams formed by the Police Commissioner and crime branch conducted raids at possible hideouts of the accused.
