JAMMU, Dec 30: IPS Officer Veerendra Kumar Mishra, who was recommended for Central deputation by the Ministry of Home Affairs has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Delhi under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post on or before 31.12.2025.
As per details with Cross Town News, thereafter, he will be appointed as Director in the Ministry of Home Affairs w.e.f. 01 .01 .2026 for a period upto 31.12.2029 (i.e. the date of his superannuation) or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.
Mishra is 2012 batch IPS Officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre.
