SRINAGAR , Dec 28: MLA Salman Sagar said J&K ACB must enquire into assets of Watch & ward Staff.
Sagar said “I have formally filed a complaint at P/S Harwan against lower-rank LCMA officials for alleged harassment of locals and for falsely using my name during demolition drives, which amounts to defamation.
I have also taken up the issue of LCMA jurisdiction at the highest level to seek denotification of LCMA from rural areas. Besides raising this in upcoming session of Legislative Assembly to fight for poorest of poor in rural area’s of Srinagar.
I will leave no stone unturned in resolving this issue & will knock the doors of honourable court if required .
Moreover, @JKACB must enquire into the assets and conduct of the watch & ward staff to ensure accountability and justice & to stop further blackmailing by few officials irrespective of their positions in deptt @JKACB.”
